Russell Schaffer

Russell Schaffer is the Director of IT at SnapAttack. Russell has over 14 years of experience in the IT industry. Russell started their career as a Manager and Senior Network Engineer at TerpSys. Russell then worked as a Systems Engineer at Apex Systems, before becoming the Lead Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton. In January 2019, they joined the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) as their Technical Lead. Russell has been with SnapAttack since October 2021.

Russell Schaffer has a Masters of Science in Information Technology with a focus in Information Assurance from the University of Maryland Global Campus. They also have a BA in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland. Furthermore, they have various certifications in ITIL, VMware, Brocade, (ISC)², Microsoft, Red Hat, and CompTIA. Finally, they also have an Okta Certified Professional certification.
