Sharon Askew

Sharon Askew, MA, has extensive work experience in benefits management and HR. Sharon currently holds the position of Director of Benefits at SnapNurse. Prior to joining SnapNurse, they served as the Benefits Manager at both SnapNurse and SecurAmerica in 2021. From 2019 to 2021, Sharon worked as the Benefits Manager at SecurAmerica. Sharon also has experience in HR benefits vendor management at Southern Company from 2016 to 2019, and in benefits and talent management at Georgia Power Company from 2014 to 2016. Earlier in their career, Sharon held various roles in HR benefits delivery management at Southern Company, as well as in benefits management at Martia Healthcare, NGA Human Resources, Aon, and Northern Trust Corporation. Sharon began their career as a Provider Relations Specialist at Cigna in 1992.

Sharon Askew, MA earned their Bachelor's degree in Business Management from The University of Memphis in 1992. Sharon later furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Shorter University, which they completed in 2007.
