Solomon Reta, Ph.D.

Solomon Reta, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of IT infrastructure and operations. Solomon served as the Director of IT Infrastructure & Operations at SnapIT Solutions from 2019, where they managed system infrastructure, IT support for internal and external customers, and handled partnerships. Solomon also served as a CompTIA Cybersecurity + and Network + Instructor and managed, maintained, and built WordPress sites. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Developer at SnapIT Solutions.

Before joining SnapIT Solutions, Solomon worked at Haarslev Industries from 2007 to 2018 as an IT Manager/Fleet Manager, where they oversaw IT operations and managed the fleet. Solomon also worked at Faurecia Automotive Seating as an IT System Engineer from 2006 to 2007.

Solomon Reta, Ph.D. received their Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BS MIS) from Park University in 2004. Solomon then pursued a Master of Science in Administration (MSA) with a focus on Leadership at Central Michigan University from 2004 to 2005. In 2007, Solomon enrolled at Capella University, where they obtained their Ph.D. in Organization & Management with a specialization in IT Management in 2011. Additionally, they completed a Certificate of Completion in C# and Object Oriented Software Development from the University of Central Missouri at an unknown time.
