Thai Nguyen

Thai Nguyen is an accomplished professional in product design and engineering, currently serving as the Director of Product Design at SnapPea Design since February 2018. With experience as a Design and Product Strategist at Make Design Studio since November 2015, Thai has contributed significantly to innovative design strategies. Prior to these roles, Thai worked as a Mechanical Designer at BlackBerry from May 2010 to May 2015, managing over 15 OEM and ODM partners to bring cutting-edge accessories to market. Thai began the career as a Mechanical Design Associate Intern at BlackBerry after completing a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics) from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Additional experience includes a co-op position as a Mechanical Tool and Fixture Designer at Linamar in 2007.
