Alex Bakman has worked in a variety of roles since 1985. Alex began their career at IBM as a Consultant/Systems Engineer/Developer in 1985. In 1990, they moved to UNUM as a Sr. Consultant of Advanced Technology. In 1994, they founded and became the CEO of CleverSoft. In 1996, they joined Candle as the VP Groupware. In 1999, they founded and became the CEO of Ecora Software, where they built the company from $0 to $13M in sales and acquired by Versata. In 2006, they founded and became the CTO of VKernel. In 2005, they founded, became President, and Owner of Keyword Competitor. Finally, in 2011, they became the CEO and President of Snappii, which empowers business professionals to visually build business apps with no coding required.

Alex Bakman received their High School Diploma from the High School of Engineering and Science Philadelphia in 1984. Alex then attended American University from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a BS in Computer Science with a focus in Business and Computer Science.
