Damien Pallant

Deputy Chief Safety Officer at SNCF Réseau

A graduate of the École Nationale de l’Aviation Civile and the holder of an Executive Masters from Sciences Po and St Andrews University, Damien Pallant has spent most of his career at Air France, where he held various operational and transformation management posts, progressing from co-pilot to Operational Performance Director in 22 years. He joined SNCF in 2016 as Group Deputy Chief Safety Officer. In March 2020 he was appointed to the SNCF Voyageurs executive committee as Chief Safety Officer for SNCF Voyageurs. He has undertaken a transformation of the company’s safety culture, making SNCF Voyageurs a lead firm for the implementation of the regulatory framework for the fourth European railway package regarding safety.
