Elke Knechtl

Elke Knechtl is a seasoned professional in store planning and construction management, currently serving as the Director of Store Planning at SNIPES since May 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing new store projects, remodels, and relocations. Prior to this position, Elke held significant roles at CHANEL as Group Director for Store Design in Watches & Fine Jewelry and at MARIA TASH as Director of Store Design & Construction. Several years were spent at Cartier, where responsibilities included managing store construction, coordinating with various internal departments, and establishing vendor relationships. Additional experience includes positions at Chanel, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Polo Ralph Lauren, demonstrating a strong background in project management, budgeting, and collaboration across multiple departments. Elke holds a Master's degree in Global Fashion Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology, along with an Associate Degree in Interior Design and a Bachelor's degree in Studio Arts, Art History, and Communications from the University of Pittsburgh.
