Paul Nakazawa

Paul Nakazawa serves as the Chairman (Non-Exec) for the North American practice of Snøhetta, a renowned international design firm, since January 2009. With extensive experience as an Owner of Nakazawa Consultants since February 1993, Paul has provided strategic advice to leading practices across various design disciplines globally. Paul held the position of Director and Vice Chairman on the Board of Directors at MASS Design Group until June 2023, emphasizing the transformative power of design. Additionally, Paul contributed to academia as an Associate Professor in Practice of Architecture at Harvard University Graduate School of Design until 2021 and served as the External Examiner for the Architectural Association in London. Paul has been involved in various board roles, including at TRO Jung|Brannen and Massachusetts Technology Park Corporation, and has a solid educational background with degrees from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and the University of Chicago.
