Snohomish County PUD
Edward E. possesses extensive experience in accounting and finance, currently serving as an Accountant II at Snohomish County PUD since December 2022, where responsibilities include accounts receivable, expense reimbursements, and financial statement analysis. Previously, Edward held the position of Accountant I at the City of Everett, where governmental accounting and annual reporting were key functions. A finance internship at Alderwood Water & Wastewater District allowed for exposure to utility billing functions, while a role as Staff Accountant at Progeny 3 Inc involved day-to-day accounting and support for audits. Edward's career began in customer service and tutoring roles, with a strong educational foundation consisting of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Washington Bothell.
Snohomish County PUD
Snohomish County PUD began operating as an electric utility on September 1, 1949, providing public power to Snohomish County and Camano Island. (We actually began as a water utility on January 17, 1946, but we don’t provide water service to the entire county.) Snohomish County PUD is a municipal corporation of the state of Washington, formed by a majority vote of the people for the purpose of providing electric and/or water utility service. There are 27 other PUDs in Washington, but we are the largest. We are the 12th largest public utility in the U.S. and the second largest in Washington state, serving the 875,000 citizens of Snohomish County and Camano Island and the businesses that keep them thriving. The PUD’s service area consists of 2,200 square miles, including all of Snohomish County and Camano Island. The utility maintains more than 6,300 miles of distribution line.
