Angela Fox has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Angela is currently working at Snorkel AI as a Staff Product Designer, where they have been responsible for designing the foundational UX of end-to-end ML development and core features. Angela has also built internal processes for design sprint, UX research, and design validation to support user-centric product development.
Prior to their current role, Angela worked at Microsoft as a Senior Product Designer and Product Designer 2. At Microsoft, they designed large-scale enterprise engagement features and collaborated with Viva Engage to develop the initial UX flow for AI-infused question-answer and topic features. Angela also designed M365 integration features to surface social conversation across different Microsoft platforms.
Before joining Microsoft, Angela gained experience as a UX Design Intern at Microsoft, where they proposed a design framework for trust-building in privacy and designed UX features for Microsoft products. Angela also worked as a Planner/Urban Designer at Dyett & Bhatia, where they designed land use, circulation, and public realm for multiple municipalities. Angela created 3D visualizations, developed zoning-based scenarios, and contributed to the cooperative team setting.
Angela also has internship experiences at Boston Region MPO, Fenway CDC, City of Boston, MIT Megacity Logistic Lab, and MIT Digital Fabrication Lab. Angela has worked as a Traffic Design Intern, Community Development Intern, Digital Media & Communication Intern, Logistics Researcher, and Architectural Computation Researcher in these respective positions.
Additionally, Angela served as a Research Consultant for the City of New Orleans where they conducted research projects.
Angela Fox completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture and Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2014. Angela then pursued a Master of Design degree in Interaction Design at Carnegie Mellon University, although the duration of their enrollment is unknown. Angela has also obtained several certifications, including "Being a Good Mentor" and "Evil by Design: Persuasion in UX" from LinkedIn in August 2021, as well as "Accessibility in Action" from Microsoft in September 2019.
