Sam Gorman

Sam Gorman's work experience includes:

- Currently working as a Software Engineer at Snorkel AI since May 2022.

- Worked as a Software Engineer at Stealth from January 2022 to February 2022. During this role, they conducted applied research in extensible and secure peer-to-peer data channels and developed an end-to-end encrypted desktop chat application.

- Served as a TA for two Stanford University ICME workshops on deep learning for Natural Language Processing in August 2021. They presented a lecture on building deep learning models in NLP with Keras and covered various components of deep learning systems.

- Co-founded Iris Co. in December 2019, where they built a data-driven assistant for college students and managed product and design. They conducted user interviews and implemented weekly sprints.

- Co-founded Peerlift in September 2017, a platform connecting college students to scholarships. They designed and built a full-stack web app with React, Node, and MongoDB, implemented expressive filtering, and designed a REST API.

- Worked as a Product Designer at RandomCoffee from April 2019 to June 2019.

- Worked as a Researcher at Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford's K-12 Lab from October 2018 to December 2018.

From 2017 to 2022, Sam Gorman attended Stanford University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Product Design.
