Trung Nguyen

Trung Nguyen has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. They most recently worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Snorkel AI starting in 2021. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2021, Trung held the position of Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Nightfall AI, where they built classification and sequence labeling models for identifying Personal Identification Information (PII) in cloud data and SaaS applications. They also developed Microservices and deployed ML models in production, monitoring performance metrics and implementing ETL pipelines.

Before joining Nightfall AI, Trung worked as a Data Scientist at Juniper Networks from 2017 to 2018. They gained further experience in data science through their roles as a Data Science Resident and Data Science Fellow at Galvanize Inc in 2017. Trung also has experience as an Analyst at Ross Stores, Inc. from 2015 to 2016 and Safeway from 2014 to 2015, where they specialized in PRC strategies. They began their career as an Associate at BlueYield in 2013.

Trung Nguyen pursued their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics at UC Irvine from 2009 to 2013. Afterward, in 2016 and 2017, they attended Galvanize Inc for a Data Science Immersive program. Trung's education journey continues, as they are currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, starting in 2022 and expected to complete in 2025.
