Vivek Krishnamurthy

Vivek Krishnamurthy has a diverse work experience in the field of applied research and engineering. Vivek is currently working as an Applied Research Scientist at Snorkel AI since July 2021. Prior to this, Vivek was a Graduate Student at UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science from September 2019 to June 2021.

Vivek also has experience working at various companies. Vivek worked as an Applied Scientist at Amazon from June 2020 to January 2021, where they focused on developing a Reference based Weak Supervision framework for training Question-Answer models. Vivek also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at IBM Watson Health from July 2016 to June 2019, where they spearheaded the design of the Deep learning pipeline for Watson for Patient Safety.

Before that, Vivek worked as a Research Assistant at UMass CS Department from February 2015 to May 2016, where they implemented machine learning algorithms to predict gene functionality and performed feature selection on the data. Vivek also worked on a Course Project where they analyzed Dow Jones Index stock data and predicted the next week's opening prices.

In addition, Vivek has interned at IBM Watson and Verizon. At IBM Watson, they worked as a Watson Cloud Intern from June 2015 to August 2015, where they created scripts to collect server usage reports and analyzed them using Python to create graphs and charts. At Verizon, they worked as an Intern in 2014, where they implemented Elastic Search Java API to analyze logs.

Overall, Vivek Krishnamurthy has a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and research, with experience in developing frameworks and pipelines for various applications.

Vivek Krishnamurthy completed their education in a chronological order. Vivek attended NHVPS from 2001 to 2012, where they received their High School degree with a focus on Science. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2012 to 2016. Continuing their academic journey, Vivek enrolled at UCLA from 2019 to 2021 and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science.
