Rusty Herring

Rusty Herring has extensive experience in education and engineering, currently serving as a Teacher and Coach at Hilliard City School District since September 2006. In this role, Rusty teaches AP Physics C, Kenyon Academic Program Physics, and Project Lead The Way courses in engineering. Additionally, as the Varsity Coach for Boys Volleyball, Rusty led the team to victory as OCC Champions in 2017 and 2018 and as both OCC and Regional Champions in 2015. Rusty also began a position as a Candidate for the Snow Trails Ski Patrol in January 2023 and previously worked at Procter & Gamble from 1993 to 2004, where responsibilities included roles as a Welding Engineer, Process Engineer for Pringles, and Project Engineer for Torengos. Rusty earned a Master's degree in Secondary Education from The Ohio State University in 2006, following a Bachelor of Science in Welding Engineering from the same institution in 1993.
