Balaji Venkatesan

Balaji Venkatesan is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance, M&A, and startup operations. Currently serving as Senior Director of Finance at Snowflake since 2024, Balaji focuses on developing commercial models for optimizing cloud spending and enhancing data and AI business models. Previously, Balaji held the position of CFO for Rappi Brazil in 2023, driving economic growth through e-commerce. Other roles include M&A Director at Wofford Advisors, Head of Corporate Development at Cromo, and leadership positions at Bematech, TOTVS, and Standard Chartered Bank, demonstrating a robust background in M&A execution and corporate strategy. Balaji holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from the University at Buffalo, and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pune, India.
