Labanya Mukhopadhyay

Labanya Mukhopadhyay is a skilled software engineer currently working at Snowflake since October 2023, focusing on the development of Snowpark pandas. Prior to this, Labanya held a software engineering position at Ponder, which was acquired by Snowflake, and worked as a venture fellow at GenZScouts. Experience includes a software engineering internship at BlackRock, where Labanya developed an end-to-end data pipeline and optimized query times, and previous internships at Berkeley Lab and UC Berkeley, involving automation and web development projects. Labanya co-founded AccelerateTheir @ Berkeley to support women in entrepreneurship and has interned in data science roles that leveraged machine learning and data analysis. Labanya earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science with a minor in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
