Lonnie Princehouse

Lonnie Princehouse is a Senior Software Engineer at Snowflake since June 2020, with prior experience as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services from 2013 to March 2020. At AWS, Lonnie played a pivotal role in the development of the AWS Timestream service and contributed significantly to the AWS DynamoDB team by architecting features and addressing heat management issues. Lonnie's earlier experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University from August 2006 to June 2013, focusing on distributed systems, and as a Software Engineer at Boeing Research & Technology from June 2001 to July 2006, working on advanced computing approaches. Lonnie holds a PhD in Computer Science from Cornell University and a BS in Computational and Applied Mathematics from the University of Washington.
