Ruta Karolyte

Ruta Karolyte is currently a Principal Product Scientist at Snowfox Discovery, focusing on developing data-driven tools for natural hydrogen exploration since August 2023. Concurrently, Ruta serves as a Visiting Research Fellow and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, specializing in noble gas geochemistry and the dynamics of crustal fluids in the Earth's subsurface. Previous roles include Laboratory Demonstrator at the University of Edinburgh, teaching various Earth Science courses, and Teaching Assistant at the University of Glasgow, where Ruta participated in sedimentology and geological mapping instruction. Early career experience also includes work as a Research Assistant at the Scottish Universities Environmental Research Centre, concentrating on micrometeorite research. Ruta holds a PhD in Geochemistry from the University of Edinburgh and a BSc(Hons) in Earth Science from the University of Glasgow.
