Kris Hansson

Kris Hansson is an Environmental Assurance Officer at Snowy Hydro Limited since December 2022, with previous experience as a Grounds Person/Labourer at Complete Turf & Landscaping and as a Snowy 2.0 Environmental Advisor at Clough, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with licence requirements in sensitive national park areas. Additional experience includes working as a Casual Ecologist at Niche Environment and Heritage, supporting biodiversity assessments for the ARTC Inland Rail project, and undertaking a work placement at Icon Water focused on bushfire planning and ecological data review. Kris also completed a student internship at Yass Valley Council, assisting with vegetation surveys. Kris holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Canberra, obtained between 2017 and 2020.
