Nyasha Chirenda

Nyasha Chirenda is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Manager of Plant Engineering at Snowy Hydro Limited since January 2024. Prior to this role, Nyasha held the position of Maintenance Manager at Primo Foods from March 2022 to January 2024 and worked as a Process Improvement & Control Engineer at Ridley Corporation Ltd from September 2019 to February 2022. Nyasha's career began at Zimbabwe Power Company, where roles included Lead Project Engineer and Electrical Control & Instrumentation Engineer from August 2013 to July 2019. Additionally, Nyasha gained experience as a Design Engineer at Bain Specialised Castings from September 2012 to January 2014. Nyasha holds a Master of Business Administration in Project Management from Kaplan Business School, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering Hons in Mechatronics Engineering from Chinhoyi University of Technology, along with multiple certifications in power plant training and personal management.
