Sabastain Wakoyi

Sabastain Wakoyi has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Sabastain started their career in 2010 as a FinOps Analyst at Ako-Misaje Cooperative Society, where they managed company operations and achieved production targets. In 2013, they worked as a Desktop Support Technician at MMX TECHNO, assisting in technical support process refinement and setting up new systems. In 2016, they joined SARAH AND SONS ENTERPRISE as an Information Technology Support Specialist, troubleshooting IT issues and providing support to multiple departments. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at TekGlobal as an AWS Solutions Architect, designing and implementing AWS-based solutions, building and deploying cloud systems, and developing architectural models. Currently, they are a Full Stack Developer at SNVA Ventures, a role that started in December 2022.

Sabastain Wakoyi completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Buea in 2010. Sabastain then pursued a Postgraduate Degree in Information Technology from the same university, graduating in 2016. In 2021, they obtained a Certificate of Completion in Full Stack Web Development from Codeup. Following that, in 2022, they completed a Master's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/AI from Texas A&M University-San Antonio.

In addition to their formal education, Sabastain Wakoyi has obtained various certifications. In 2021, they obtained the "Insurance Agent, Life" certification from the Texas Department of Insurance. The same year, they also earned the "Google IT Support Certificate" from Coursera. Furthermore, in 2021, they obtained two certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS): the "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" and the "AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate". Lastly, in 2022, they earned the "AWS Cloud Cost Management: Optimization Strategies" certification from Coursera.
