Nevon Brake

Nevon Brake is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in the technology sector. Currently serving as Staff Software Engineer at Snyk since November 2022, Nevon has previously held the role of Staff Engineer at VMware from October 2013 to September 2020, following a tenure as Principal Software Engineer at Desktone, Inc. from October 2011 until its acquisition by VMware. Early career experience includes positions as a Software Developer at IBM from August 2008 to October 2011 and at Consilient from October 2002 to May 2006, as well as roles as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the School of Computing at Queen's University between September 2006 and June 2008. Nevon holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Queen's University and a B.Sc. in Computer Science with Honours in Software Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
