Janet Brookbank

Janet Brookbank has held a variety of roles in the finance and operations sector since 1989. In 1989, they began their career as a Supervisor at Horwath Orenstein LLP, where they led external audits and reviewed working papers of associate auditors for a variety of small to medium-sized clients in manufacturing, real estate and service businesses. In 1992, they joined Unilever as a Controller, Finance & Brand Development in the Home & Personal Care division, where they provided leadership to a department of 27 people. In 2001, they became a Financial Operations Consultant for PBM Products, LLC, where they focused on cost reductions, maximizing manufacturing output, and improving operational profit. In 2010, they moved to Perrigo Company plc as a Financial Operations Consultant, providing strategic financial insight to drive higher profitability and focus on cost control and operational excellence. Finally, in 2015, they began working as a Finance and Operations Contractor for SoapBox Soaps, where they provided both strategic and tactical insight to better deliver operational and financial information and drive operational cash flow.

Janet Brookbank obtained a Bachelor of Mathematics (B. Math) in Accounting from the University of Waterloo between 1984 and 1989. Janet then obtained their Chartered Professional Accountant CA, CPA certification from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in November 1990.
