Julie Smith, MS, SPHR has over 15 years of work experience in various HR roles. Julie is currently the Director of Human Resources at Soapy Joe's, Inc. since January 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Director of People and Culture at Partnerships With Industry from June 2018 to January 2020. Julie also held the position of Director of Human Resources at Walden Family Services from April 2016 to June 2018.

Before transitioning into the field of HR, Julie had experience as a Human Resources Manager at JCPenney in 2015. Their HR career began at Target in 2009, where they started as an Executive Team Leader and displayed exceptional talent development and operational efficiency skills. Julie worked their way up and made significant contributions to sales growth, talent production, and shortage reduction.

Julie's career started at Esri in 2006 as a Customer Service Account Manager. Julie demonstrated excellence in managing international accounts, processing orders, and delivering customer service training. Julie's work experience reflects their expertise in HR leadership, team development, and strategic process implementation.

Julie Smith, MS, SPHR, has an extensive education history. In 2002, they began their undergraduate studies at the University of Redlands, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Sociology. Julie successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2006. Following their undergraduate degree, Julie furthered their education by pursuing a Masters of Science in Human Resources Development at Villanova University from 2014 to 2016. Julie obtained their Master’s degree in Human Resources Development during this period. Additionally, Julie holds the certification of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), which was awarded by the HRCI.
