Kelly Pyne

Kelly Pyne serves as the Operations Coordinator at Shaping Our Appalachian Region, Inc. (SOAR) since August 2023, where responsibilities include creating targeted email campaigns for the Eastern Kentucky Job Board newsletter and Code:You program, achieving an average click-through rate of 26.42% and a 23% increase in program retention. Previously held the role of Digital Equity Coordinator, becoming a subject matter expert on the FCC Affordable Connectivity Program and conducting over 300 personalized consultations monthly, leading to 158 successful sign-ups. During the academic year 2022-2023, as a Marketing Teaching Assistant at Berea College's Economics and Business Department, Kelly developed a comprehensive initiative on corporate rebranding strategies and facilitated weekly office hours for students. Additional experience includes interning at Pfizer, updating mRNA Platform Education content, and roles as an Accountant at Berea College Farm Store and a Gas Station Cashier at Route 39 Stop. Kelly earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Berea College in 2023.
