Alex Spilger

Alex Spilger currently serves as the Vice President of Real Estate Sustainability at The Sobrato Organization, where leadership focuses on aligning sustainability strategies with business objectives to reduce emissions and promote environmental responsibility. Previously, Alex held the position of Global Head of Sustainability at Kennedy Wilson, overseeing sustainability initiatives for a global portfolio and collaborating with senior leadership. As the founder of GreenStep Education, a member of 1%-for-the-Planet, Alex has also contributed to sustainability efforts in various roles at Cushman & Wakefield, BCCI Builders, and DNV GL - Sustainability Advisory. Alex's educational background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from UCLA and an advanced certificate in Energy Innovation & Emerging Technologies from Stanford University.
