Christy Richardson currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer at The Sobrato Organization since October 2020, overseeing Sobrato Capital and managing the investment portfolio of Sobrato Philanthropies while leading impact investment activities and advising on asset allocation strategies. Prior to this role, Christy was the Director of Private Investments at The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation from December 2005 to October 2020, where responsibilities included managing selection processes for venture, buyout, and natural resource strategies, which accounted for 30% of the foundation's endowment. Additionally, Christy held the position of Director of Private Equity at Thomas Weisel Partners from 2000 to 2005 and served as a Partner in Private Equity. Christy holds an A.B. in Economics from Dartmouth College, awarded in 1993.
