Alexis Smart

Alexis Smart is an experienced professional with a strong background in grant management, fundraising, and community program coordination. Currently serving as the Manager of Sustainability & Membership Growth at SoCal Grantmakers since March 2019, Alexis manages sponsorship and membership revenue streams and engages in frontline fundraising. Previous roles include Coordinator of Grants & Membership, where responsibilities included processing and research on fiscal revenue, and various positions at Teach For America, Jamboree Housing Corporation, City of South Salt Lake, and others, focusing on community development, youth programs, and case management for vulnerable populations. Alexis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from UC San Diego and an Associate of Arts from American River College.
