Steven Ambers has extensive experience in various roles related to finance, consulting, and business development. Steven started their career in 2001 as the President of Steven Ambers CPA, where they provided consulting services to expand market size for various companies in the music industry, litigation support, merchant services, and talent management. In 2017, they joined SOCAN as the Director of International Business Development & Compliance, where they conducted royalty reviews, developed relationships with music rights organizations and supported strategic investment opportunities. Steven later became the Vice President of Corporate Development until May 2022. Additionally, Ambers served as Treasurer for the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP) Los Angeles Chapter from 2019 to 2020 and for AIMP from 2017 to 2018.
