Summary
As a Lead Generator Specialist in a dynamic software development company, you’ll be instrumental in identifying and qualifying leads to drive our sales pipeline. Collaborating closely with marketing and sales teams, you’ll research potential clients, engage prospects, and set the stage for our sales team to close deals. From uncovering opportunities in the tech space to building meaningful connections, your work will directly contribute to our mission of delivering innovative software solutions to clients worldwide.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify potential clients in the software development and technology sectors.
Generate leads through multiple channels, including professional networks, online platforms, and industry databases.
Reach out to prospects via email, phone, and social media to introduce our software development services and solutions.
Qualify leads by understanding their business challenges, goals, and potential needs for software development.
Work closely with the marketing team to leverage ongoing campaigns and refine outreach strategies.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads for further engagement.
Maintain detailed and accurate lead data in the company’s CRM system, tracking interactions and follow-ups.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to identify opportunities and position the company effectively.
Consistently meet or exceed lead generation goals to contribute to overall company growth.
Other Qualifications
Tech enthusiast: Familiarity with the software development industry, including basic knowledge of services like custom software development, web development, or app creation, is highly preferred.
Communication wizard: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required, with fluency in Spanish as an added advantage.
Detail-oriented: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple leads and ensure accurate documentation in CRM systems.
Proactive mindset: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and think creatively to identify new opportunities.
Team player: Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, especially marketing and sales.
Tech-savvy: Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), lead generation platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Results-driven: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance targets and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Investigate and analyze RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and other procurement opportunities to identify and qualify specific opportunities within the technology industry. Experience in this area is considered a plus.
Education and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in lead generation, sales, or marketing, ideally within the software development or technology sector. Familiarity with B2B sales processes, a proven track record of generating qualified leads, and hands-on experience with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other lead-generation platforms are highly desirable.
