Robert Goldstein began their career as an Associate at Latham & Watkins in 2008. In 2010, they became a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Columbia Law School. In 2011, they joined Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP as a Corporate Associate, where they worked with the Capital Markets & Securities, Mergers & Acquisitions, Financing and Private Equity practice groups. In 2015, they joined Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates as Counsel, Corporate; Capital Markets and Associate, where they represented issuers and investment banks in connection with a wide variety of public and private financings, including high-yield and investment grade debt financings, initial public offerings (IPOs) and secondary offerings. In 2021, they joined Social Capital LP as General Counsel. In 2022, they became a Charter Member of TechGC.

Robert Goldstein obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Michigan between 2001 and 2005. Robert then attended Columbia Law School, where they earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) between 2005 and 2008. In 2009 and 2010, they attended New York University to obtain a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation. In 2003, they also attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
