Head of Marketing at Social Chain Agency

Ro Bocking has a diverse work experience in marketing and social media. They started their career as a Social Media Lead at Ventrica in 2010 and later became the Head of Social Media and CX at SEO Essex. In 2014, Ro joined Ventrica again as a Digital Marketing Manager, working with clients such as Fortnum & Mason, New Look, McDonald's, Jimmy Choo, Barratt Developments, UGG Australia, and Purplebricks. During their time at Ventrica, Ro managed digital touch points and was involved in tendering, writing RFPs, and presenting/pitching at client meetings.

In 2018, Ro moved to F-Secure Corporation as the Global Campaigns Manager, where they led the acquisition rebrand and marketing from MWR to F-Secure. Ro was responsible for creating and managing the global social media strategy and digital marketing campaigns for three business units.

Ro then worked as the Head of Marketing at Revive.Digital from 2020 to 2022. In this role, they led the marketing efforts and contributed to the growth of the company.

In 2022, Ro joined Brave Bison as the Head of Marketing, where they marketed all four business units across seven continents and led the rebrand project for Greenlight Commerce and Greenlight Digital.

Currently, Ro is the Head of Marketing for Social Chain Agency, overseeing marketing efforts across the UK and US. They played a pivotal role in the acquisition of Social Chain by Brave Bison and are responsible for driving marketing strategies for the agency.

Ro Bocking attended Cecil Jones College, where they obtained 10 GCSEs with grades ranging from A* to B. Additionally, Ro Bocking has obtained several certifications throughout the years. In 2011, they completed a certification in Social Media in Business from Virtual College Ltd. In 2012 and 2013, Ro Bocking completed Web Design 1 and Web Design 2 certifications respectively, both from South Essex College of Further and Higher Education. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Investigating Psychology from The Open University. Finally, in 2019, Ro Bocking completed a Digital Marketing certification from FutureLearn, and in 2020, they obtained the Solutions Partner Certified designation from HubSpot.
