Ian Ritchie has an extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Ian is currently working as a Senior Executive at Social Enterprise for Canada since 2022. Prior to that, they founded and served as the Owner-CEO of IR Home Care Consulting Services in 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Sessional Professor at Conestoga College from 2022 to 2022. Ian also worked as a Strategic Advisor at LocateMotion (SenSights.AI™) from 2020 to 2022. Ian held the position of Regional Director, Toronto East Sub Region at Home and Community Care Support Services Toronto Central from 2016 to 2020. Ian also served as a Client Services Manager at Northwest Community Care Access Centre from 2004 to 2016, and as a Program Manager at Alph Court Non Profit Housing and Mental Health Services from 2000 to 2004. Ian began their professional career as a Client Services Support Worker at AIDS Committee of Thunder Bay from 1993 to 1998.

Ian Ritchie has a High School Diploma from Milton Hershey School, obtained between 1981 and 1986. Ian also has an Honours Bachelor of Social Work and Bachelor Degree in Sociology from Lakehead University, received between 1989 and 1997. Additionally, Ian completed the Advanced Health Leadership Program at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in 2015.
