SEC has a demonstrated expertise in the issues of equity, diversity and access to services for members of diverse communities. SEC develops and delivers programs funded by the Ministry of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration, the Ministry of the Attorney General, and the Ministry of Education. SEC programs include: Mobile Settlement Services for York Region and Simcoe Counties Accreditation Pathways for Canadian certification in regulated professions by Internationally Educated and Skilled Individuals EarlyON Centres - interactive programs for children from birth to age 6 and caregivers Supervised Access York and Peel regions - facilitated court ordered visits or exchanges for families who are separating or divorcing Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program - supporting the needs of pregnant women facing challenges that put their health and the health of their infants at risk Social Enterprise for Canada Corporation, the business division of SEC, offers communication solutions - technical infrastructure and equipment - Internet connectivity, VoIP phone service, video conferencing, data centre hosting - with the value add of multilingual reception, interpretation and translation (Bridge Translations). We specialize in serving niche markets finding unique solutions for our customers that address their need and meet their financial parameters. Income earned in the business division supports the growth of our charitable programs. Revenue earned in this divisions supports the delivery of the social service programs.
