Josh Nathan

Josh Nathan is an Associate Director and Staff Attorney at Social Finance, based in the Boston office. Previously, Josh served as an academic director at Bridge International Academies, a social enterprise improving the quality of education in developing countries. At Bridge, Josh led the founding and academic management of a network of impactful charter schools in Liberia, and was also responsible for curriculum development for schools in Kenya and Uganda.

Josh started his career as a Teach For America corps member, where he taught eighth grade English in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Josh holds MBA and J.D. degrees from the Kellogg School of Management and the Pritzker School of Law at Northwestern University, where he was a Youn Impact Scholar and received the Order of the Coif. He also holds a master’s degree in education from Boston University. Josh graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College with a B.A. in English.
