Rachel Levy

Director, Talent at Social Finance

Rachel Levy is a Director on the Talent Team at Social Finance. In this role, she leads all talent acquisition for the organization, from sourcing through hiring, for roles at all levels. She also oversees onboarding, learning and professional development for all employees. Prior to joining the Talent Team, Rachel was a Director within the Impact Advisory team and helped lead the team’s Public Sector Practice, working with state and local governments to identify promising interventions, implement outcomes-based solutions, and improve program performance through data-driven insights. Rachel’s project experience focused heavily on the intersection of criminal justice and workforce development, including developing Pay for Success projects to reduce recidivism and increase employment with the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, the Memphis Workforce Investment Network, and the Louisiana Department of Public Safety & Corrections.

Prior to joining Social Finance, Rachel managed strategy projects on the national staff at Teach For America. As a Manager of Constituent Strategy & Insights, she conducted qualitative and quantitative research projects focused on donors and school principals to understand attitudes about and perceptions of the organization. She also worked as a Manager, Strategy on the Growth, Development, & Partnerships team, helping to develop new revenue generation strategies for the organization including social fundraising, planned giving, and monthly giving. Earlier in her career, Rachel was a consultant at Deloitte Consulting in the Strategy & Operations practice.

Rachel holds an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management and graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Williams College with a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics.
