Junefe G. Payot

Junefe Payot serves as the Executive Vice President at Social Housing Finance Corporation since May 2014 and as a Professional Lecturer at De La Salle University since July 2020, teaching multiple courses related to global issues and Japanese studies. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Court Attorney at the Office of the Chief Justice of the Philippines and Associate Lawyer at SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan. From 2001 to 2009, Junefe was a Project Officer at John J. Carroll Institute on Church and Social Issues and a Lecturer in the Japanese Studies Program at Ateneo de Manila University. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Poverty and Development from The University of Manchester, a Juris Doctor from the University of the Philippines, a MA in Japanese Studies from Ateneo de Manila University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Ateneo de Manila University. Additionally, Junefe is pursuing further education at IHS, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and has affiliations with Rikkyo University and the Samuel Zell and Robert Lurie Real Estate Center at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
