Prashanna Pokharel is a Community Animator at the Centre for Social Innovation (CSI) since October 2022, bringing diverse experiences in research and animal biology. Previous roles include Laboratory Research Assistant at the University of Alberta from February 2019 to April 2020, where tasks involved supporting laboratory activities, and Research Intern at the Nepal Agriculture Research Council in mid-2018, focusing on PCR-based genotyping of Lulu Cattle. Additional experience comprises a role as Data Technician at the University of Alberta, where remote-camera data from grassland and forest ecosystems was reviewed, and as a Veterinary Technician Assistant at Tudor Glen Veterinary Hospital, assisting with animal care. Prashanna holds a Bachelor of Science with Specialization in Animal Biology from the University of Alberta, completed in 2018.
