Zishan Cai

Zishan Cai has worked in the fields of data science, alternative data analysis, quantitative research, and economics. From 2018 to present, they have been the Head Data Scientist at Context Analytics, Inc. (CA) and Social Market Analytics, Inc. (SMA). Zishan has also served as an Alternative Data Analyst and Quantitative Research Analyst at these companies. Additionally, they were a Practicum Team member at Social Market Analytics, Inc. & RCM. In 2018, they were a Research Assistant in the Department of Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they analyzed and compared auto insurance data in over 50 global markets. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Student Manager at the Illini Union Rec Room at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Zishan Cai obtained a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2017. Zishan then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Financial Engineering at the same university, which they completed in 2018. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Exam #1 - Probability from the Society of Actuaries.
