We are looking for a Sales Director who will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by developing and closing business for Social Mobile. You will be responsible for selling custom Android hardware solutions, managed services, MDM/UEM, and building strong customer relationships. Leading the engagement with your prospective clients, you will develop a comprehensive sales plan to reach and exceed sales quotas, develop sales strategies to sell our portfolio of products and services generating net-new revenue. You will be leading interactive pre-sales discovery meetings, analyzing customers’ current technology and architecture, operational and business needs. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, sales expertise, and excellent communication skills. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Sales Generation: Identify and prospect new business opportunities, generate leads, and close sales to achieve and exceed sales targets. This includes conducting market research, understanding customer needs and delivering compelling presentations and proposals.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their business goals, challenges and pain points; proposing suitable technology solutions to meet their requirements.

  • Product and Solution Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of Social Mobile’s products and solutions. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, market developments, and competitors’ offerings to effectively position and differentiate Social Mobile’s solutions.

  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with the sales and management team to develop effective sales strategies, plans and forecasts. Identify key target markets, verticals, and customer segments, implementing strategies to penetrate and expand our customer base.

  • Sales Presentations and Demos: Conduct product demonstrations, presentations and sales pitches to showcase the features, benefits and value proposition of Social Mobile’s offerings. Address customer concerns and provide effective solutions.

  • Contract Negotiation and Closure: Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with clients. Prepare and finalize sales contracts and agreements in collaboration with the legal and finance teams. Ensure timely closure of sales deals.

  • Sales Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including customer information, sales activities, and pipeline management. Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to the management team.

  • Customer Service and Support: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing post-sales support and assistance as needed. Ensure customer satisfaction, resolve any issues or concerns promptly, and maintain a long-term customer relationship.

  • Employees will be required to adhere to Social Mobile's information security policies and procedures.

Requirements: 

  • At least 10 years in a similar sales role, selling into large enterprise, Fortune 500 companies, healthcare, and government

  • Proficiency in sales tools such as Hubspot/Salesforce/Zoominfo

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Strong knowledge of the mobility industry, encompassing both hardware and services

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Ability to execute presentations and proposals specific to the client’s needs

  • Knowledge of the company’s industry, products, and services

  • Ability to maintain effective relationships with clients

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced and dynamic work environment

Preference Given to:

  • Experience selling private label and/or purpose-built hardware solutions

  • Strong book of business prime for Social Mobile products and services
