Mara Bustamante has extensive work experience in the field of digital communication and social media management. Mara began their career in 2013 as a Community Manager at Hecho en Chino, where they were responsible for social media copywriting, calendar organization, and comment moderation. In 2014, they joined NewCycle Digital Agency as a Community/Content Manager, where they generated tactical plans to implement brand strategies, wrote social media copy for various brands, and developed ad hoc activations and campaigns. From 2017 to 2022, Mara worked as a Social Media Editor at Greenpeace, where they developed digital communication strategies, planned campaigns, and generated social media content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok. Most recently, Mara has been a Campaign Manager at Social Native since 2022.
Mara Bustamante completed their Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Comunicación with a field of study in Opinión Pública y Publicidad at the University of Buenos Aires from 2007 to 2013. Mara has also obtained several certifications, including Disruptive Branding from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in October 2022, Facebook Certified Community Manager from Facebook in February 2021, a Digital Media and Journalism Workshop from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, a Gender and Racial Equality Awareness Workshop from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, and a Press and Institutional Communication Workshop from the Universidad de Buenos Aires.
