B. Chad Bungard

Counsel at Social Security Administration

B. Chad Bungard is currently counsel at the Social Security Administration. B. previously served as counsel to the Inspector General at the Social Security Administration from July 2010 to January 2015. In this role, they were responsible for providing executive leadership and independent authoritative legal advice and counsel to the Inspector General and senior staff on a wide variety of issues. B. also oversaw the administration of the Civil Monetary Penalty Program and the development of operating policies and procedures for this program. In addition, they served as the first Whistleblower Protection Ombudsman for the entire agency and as the SSA OIG's Deputy Ethics Counselor, conducting the SSA OIG's ethics program.

B.
