B. Chad Bungard

B. Chad Bungard is currently counsel at the Social Security Administration. B. previously served as counsel to the Inspector General at the Social Security Administration from July 2010 to January 2015. In this role, they were responsible for providing executive leadership and independent authoritative legal advice and counsel to the Inspector General and senior staff on a wide variety of issues. B. also oversaw the administration of the Civil Monetary Penalty Program and the development of operating policies and procedures for this program. In addition, they served as the first Whistleblower Protection Ombudsman for the entire agency and as the SSA OIG's Deputy Ethics Counselor, conducting the SSA OIG's ethics program.

B. Chad Bungard has a LLM in Law and Economics from George Mason University - Antonin Scalia Law School, a JD in Law from Regent University School of Law, and a B.S. in Government from Liberty University. B. also has certification from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Sloan Executive Certificate in Leadership and Management and from the Federal Executive Institute in Leadership for a Democratic Society Certificate.
