Cherryl Henry-Leach serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Standing Together Against Domestic Abuse since January 2024, while also holding the position of Independent Chair for the DVA Partnership Board at North Yorkshire County Council. Additionally, Cherryl works as an Independent Expert Assessor for Family Courts at DV-ACT Ltd and as a Lay Adjudicator for Social Work England. Previous roles include Deputy CEO and Interim Head of Service at AAFDA, Safeguarding Advisor for Sheffield Cathedral, and Independent Safeguarding Consultant with CSL Compass Consultancy, where extensive work on domestic abuse and safeguarding has been undertaken. Cherryl has also contributed as an Associate for the College of Policing and SafeLives. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws and degrees in Applied Social Science and Criminology from The Open University.
