Ahsan Sheikh

Ahsan Sheikh is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security and risk management. Currently serving as Director and Head of Cybersecurity, Data and Technology Risk at Societe Generale since April 2024, Ahsan also contributes as a Cybersecurity Advisory Board Member at Pace University’s Seidenberg School and as an Advisory Member for The CISO Society. Previous roles include Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Risk Officer at IDB Bank and Director of Security for the Americas at Commerzbank AG. Ahsan's career spans diverse leadership positions in IT security and audits at notable firms such as ING and Ernst & Young, complemented by academic credentials including an MBA in Information Systems from Pace University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from The City University of New York. Ahsan holds several professional certifications, including CISM, CISA, and CRISC.
