Mukta Arya

Mukta Arya is a seasoned human resources leader with extensive experience spanning over two decades in various sectors, including finance and advertising. Currently serves as Chief Human Resources Officer (APAC) at Société Générale since March 2006, overseeing HR functions across 11 Asia-Pacific markets and managing the entire employee life cycle. Previous roles at Société Générale include Head of Human Resources for Southeast Asia and Regional Head of Learning and Talent Management, where responsibilities encompassed strategic HR initiatives, talent development, and engagement. Prior to Société Générale, Mukta held HR leadership positions at Ogilvy and Mather, Tata Group, and Essar, contributing to organizational development and employee engagement across diverse industries. Educational accomplishments include an MMS specializing in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from the University of Mumbai, a Global Fellow of Talent Management from The Wharton School, and degrees in Life Sciences and Biotechnology from the University of Mumbai.
