Olivier Balpe

Olivier Balpe is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the banking industry. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer for the UK and Ireland at Société Générale since May 2018, Olivier also holds multiple titles, including Managing Director of Strategic Projects Leader - IRRBB, ESG Analytics Group Program Director, and Head of Group IBOR Transition Program. Prior to this, Olivier was the Chairman of the Board at SG OPTION EUROPE and held various senior positions at Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking, including Global COO for Equities and Derivatives and Global COO for Cross Asset Solutions. Olivier's earlier career includes pivotal roles at Credit Agricole Indosuez, BNP Paribas, Citibank, and BAII, where responsibilities ranged from foreign exchange trading to management of front office operations. Olivier holds a degree from Université Paris Nanterre.
