Paramesh Rao

Paramesh Rao is a seasoned process engineer with extensive experience in iron ore beneficiation, having held significant roles across multiple companies since 2014. Currently serving as a process engineer at Somika Group SARL since May 2021, Paramesh previously managed plant operations as a mineral process engineer at Shiloh Manganese Private Limited and held similar positions at Baidyanath Minerals Private Limited and SSAB Energy and Minerals Limited, emphasizing responsibilities in plant efficiency, process control, and minimizing operational breakdowns. Paramesh also contributed to academic growth as a guest lecturer at the Government College of Engineering in Keonjhar, Odisha, teaching various mineral engineering subjects. Paramesh holds an Engineer’s Degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, obtained in 2013.
