Structures Subteam - Airframes at Society for Advanced Rocket Propulsion (SARP)

Charlene Valerio is an Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering student at the University of Washington, expected to graduate in June 2025. Currently serving as a Product Review Engineering Intern at Boeing Defense, Space & Security, Charlene applies critical engineering design principles to resolve complex issues related to the CST-100 Starliner while collaborating with various engineering disciplines. Experience includes enhancing manufacturing efficiency for the Society for Advanced Rocket Propulsion by redesigning processes and conducting detailed CAD designs, as well as tutoring students in advanced mathematics at the University of Washington. Past roles include a Product Review Engineering Intern and evaluating nonconforming products at Boeing, contributing to a high-altitude balloon project to study environmental impacts, and leading a team at Rice University's Aerospace & Aviation Academy, demonstrating strong problem-solving and communication skills throughout various engineering initiatives.
