Brian Hall

Founder & Co-Chair, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Committee at Society for American Baseball Research

Brian Hall has a diverse work history spanning across multiple industries. Brian founded Tidal Quantitative Research in 2021 and is currently serving as its Founder. Brian is also an Adjunct Instructor at New York University, teaching analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Starting in 2022, they will be the Founder and Co-Chair of the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Committee at the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR). Prior to this, Brian worked as Vice President at Two Sigma from 2015 to 2019 and Asset Management at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP from 2011 to 2015. Brian began their career in 2003 as a Statistician at the U.S Department of Commerce.

Brian Hall holds a Master's Degree in Data Science from Harvard University, a Master's Degree in Applied Economics from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Brian also earned a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Further details about the duration of these programs are not available.
