Oleksandra Kashyrina

Oleksandra Kashyrina is a dedicated medical professional specializing in neurosurgery and currently serving as a Clinical Fellow at the University of Calgary since July 2024. With a strong research background as a Research Fellow at the Society for Brain Mapping & Therapeutics since March 2022, Oleksandra has extensive experience in providing comprehensive treatment for peripheral nerve injuries to the Ukrainian military and participating in clinical trials at the Neurosurgical Institute from August 2022 to March 2023. Previous roles include Health Manager at Plarium, where Oleksandra managed healthcare for over 750 employees and participated in COVID-19 vaccination efforts, and Neurosurgeon at the International Neurosurgical Center, where Oleksandra organized neurosurgical care and contributed to educational initiatives. Oleksandra holds a Specialist degree in Medicine from Kharkiv National Medical University, completed between 2011 and 2017.
