Lakeeya Blue is an accomplished event coordinator with extensive experience in planning and executing a variety of high-profile events. Currently serving as an Event Coordinator at the Society for College and University Planning since September 2017, Lakeeya manages a robust agenda that includes five regional conferences and 15 symposiums nationwide. Previous roles include Event Sales Manager for the Portland Timbers, where over 400 meetings and events were organized annually for notable clients, and Events Assistant at Portland Center Stage, focusing on high-stakes events. Additional experience spans positions that involved event management, SEO/SEM reporting, and administrative support in various organizations. Lakeeya holds a degree in Professional Writing, Journalism, and Art History from Michigan State University.
